Some people think it looks like a harp, like the Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin, others a ham holder. I see a ship, a sailboat ready to cast off. As I draw closer to its white steel mainsail, with its almost translucent shrouds, my pride swells to fabulous proportions. Shivering, I wrap myself in a foil blanket, which I clutch tightly against my body, like an embrace that I vanish into altogether.
